1. What types of family law cases do you handle?
We handle divorce, custody, support, domestic violence restraining orders, and high-conflict family law cases. Our team helps with both simple and complex matters, including post-judgment modifications of custody and support as well as enforcement of terms of a family law judgment.
2. Where is Garelick Family Law located?
Our office is in Orange County, California. We serve clients throughout the area, including Irvine, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Huntington Beach and Costa Mesa as well as San Diego and Los Angeles Counties. We also have experience dealing with complex matters in Northern California, including, San Francisco, Santa Clara county, Marin County an Alameda County.
3. Who are the lawyers at your firm?
Marc Garelick and Amanda K. Beall are experienced family law attorneys. Marc is the firm’s founder, and Amanda brings a compassionate, results-driven approach to complex family matters.

5. Do you handle high-conflict custody cases?
Yes. We specialize in high-conflict child custody cases, including those involving broken parent-child relationships, resist and refuse dynamics, custody evaluations, conjoint and reunification therapy and contested visitation.
6. Can you help with restraining orders?
Yes. We represent clients filing or defending against domestic violence restraining orders (DVROs) to protect your safety and rights and the rights of minor children.
7. Can I change an existing custody or support order?
Yes. If your life circumstances have materially changed, we can help you request a modification from the court.
8. Are you experienced in family law litigation?
Yes. We have extensive trial experience in family court and aggressively represent clients when settlement isn’t possible.
