Eva Dadashyan

Attorney

“I am committed to advocating for individuals and families during some of the most difficult and uncertain periods of their lives.”

Meet Eva Dadashyan

Eva earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, Law, and Society from the University of California, Irvine, and her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. While at Loyola, she participated in Loyola’s Center for Conflict Resolution and Collaborative Family Law Clinic, where she developed practical experience with cooperative and solution-oriented approaches to resolving family law matters.

Throughout law school, Eva gained hands-on experience through internships at family law firms, where she worked alongside experienced attorneys on a wide range of family law matters. Through these roles, she developed a strong foundation in legal research and writing, case preparation, discovery, and client communication, while gaining valuable insight into the legal and personal complexities involved in family law disputes.

Prior to joining Garelick Family Law, Eva also worked for a nonprofit organization serving underserved survivors of domestic violence and assisting them in obtaining restraining orders and custody and visitation orders.

These experiences strengthened Eva’s commitment to advocating for individuals and families during some of the most difficult and uncertain periods of their lives. She is dedicated to providing thoughtful, detail-oriented, and compassionate representation tailored to each client’s unique circumstances. Eva takes pride in helping clients understand their options, make informed decisions, and navigate the legal process with clarity and confidence.

Questions

1. What do you find most rewarding about practicing family law?

What I find most rewarding is helping clients feel more secure and in control during a time that can otherwise feel overwhelming. Family law matters affect nearly every aspect of a person’s life, and I value being able to provide clients with practical guidance, advocate for their interests, and help them move forward with a clearer understanding of their options.

Clients can expect me to be thorough, responsive, and straightforward. I pay close attention to the details of each matter, but I also understand the importance of explaining the legal process in a way that feels clear and manageable. I want clients to feel comfortable asking questions and confident that their concerns are being heard and taken seriously.

I’m especially passionate about matters involving domestic violence, custody, and the protection of children and families. My prior work assisting underserved survivors of domestic violence showed me how meaningful effective legal advocacy can be when someone is facing an especially vulnerable or uncertain period in their life.

I enjoy learning what is most important to each client and helping them identify a practical path forward. I appreciate the opportunity to build trust, understand each client’s priorities, and tailor my approach to their specific circumstances.

I have learned that strong family-law representation requires more than simply knowing the law. It also requires patience, sound judgment, careful attention to detail, and the ability to understand the personal dynamics affecting each case. I have also learned that clients are best served when they receive candid advice, even when the answer is not necessarily what they hoped to hear.

Thoughtful, meticulous, and determined.
